The main improvements focus on steering and travel controls, with the goal of providing a more comfortable, intuitive, and precise user experience for the operator.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>More Comfortable Travel Control<br \/>\n<\/strong>The steering control has been repositioned to enable more natural two-handed operation. The right hand controls the forward\/reverse movement, while the left hand manages steering. This layout ensures better comfort and stability during travel, especially during delicate maneuvers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Enlarged Steering Potentiometer for Finer Adjustments<br \/>\n<\/strong>Another appreciated feature is the new, enlarged steering potentiometer, which allows for smoother and more precise steering adjustments. This enhancement proves particularly valuable in tight spaces or when fine directional control is required.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Two Single-Axis Joysticks Replace Traditional X-Y Control<br \/>\n<\/strong>The traditional X-Y dual-axis joystick has been replaced by two separate single-axis joysticks. The right-hand joystick controls forward and reverse movement (vertical axis), while the new central joystick, which replaces the previous potentiometer, controls the lateral steering (horizontal axis). This separation of functions allows for more intuitive handling and minimizes the risk of unintentional inputs.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Safe Steering Mode Selection<br \/>\n<\/strong>Operators can choose between potentiometer-based steering and joystick-based steering using a dedicated safety selector switch (Selector 3). The selector must be pulled upward before it can be moved sideways, ensuring that mode changes are deliberate and safe.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Simultaneous Control of Three Superstructure Functions<br \/>\n<\/strong>The new radio control variant also retains the ability to manage up to three independent superstructure functions at the same time. In addition to luffing and boom extension, the operator can choose a third function between jib slewing or winch operation. This is made possible by a three-axis joystick, which includes X and Y movement plus a rotating head (Z axis) for full, responsive control.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This updated radio control is available as an alternative to the standard version and can be requested at the time of order.
