A brand-new 9-position adjustable mechanic jib is now available in different sizes to fit the whole Manitex Valla range of products. This tool allows managing all loading, unloading and handling operations where the lifting configuration can be predefined. Thanks to its pulley kit it can be always used together with the winch. When necessary, it can also mount a modular extension in addition to the basic structure, ideal for operating in confined spaces such as during unloading from curtainsider trailers.
As a main feature this jib enables a double mechanical regulation of the components by means of quick release pins on the connection frame between the machine boom and the jib. The first adjustment allows for negative, neutral or positive inclination of the entire structure with respect to the boom while a second adjustment allows negative inclination of the elements downstream of the boom connection frame for a total of 9 different configurations.
It is a highly specialized tool representing the ideal compromise between performance and cost-effectiveness compared to a more generalist hydraulic jib.
